Moreover, with the state secretaries of agriculture, the Federal Government promotes wide inspection, aiming at the conformity between the Brazilian industrial and sanitary inspection legislation and the health standards required by the importing country.
Quality Control
The health conditions of the animal are rigorously verified, through periodic veterinary medical monitoring and proof of vaccination and laboratory tests legally required.
The International Health Zoos Certificate (CZI), issued by the Department of Animal Health, of the Department of Agricultural Defense of the Ministry of Agriculture, comes to attest to animal health and is issued after sanitary inspection or examinations for diagnosis of diseases.
The brazilian federal government's care regarding the products exported to the world market is irrefutable, but state care alone is not enough.
Demands of Saudi Arabia
In May 2021, Saudi Arabia suspended half of the number of poultry meat processing plants in Brazil qualified to export, because the banned companies had exceeded limits and microbiological standards established in the Technical Regulation.
